METRA RIDERS, PLEASE NOTE: Metra will undergo construction the weekend of the Disability Pride Parade. Those with accessibility needs who are taking the Metra Electric will need to plan for arrival at McCormick Place - this will be the ONLY accessible downtown station. There will be an accessible shuttle bus from McCormick to Milennium Station. Please plan your travel accordingly.
- Those processing in the parade are welcome to ride on registered motor vehicles, walk, or roll.
- There will be a specific area at Daley Plaza where masks are required.
- Masks are encouraged for the parade and celebration.
- ASL interpreters will be present.
- A cooling bus will be on site at Daley Plaza for those who need shade and air conditioning.
- A sensory-friendly bus will be on site at Daley Plaza. It will be cool and quiet. Fidgets will be available.
- Our medical tent will have masks, ear plugs, sunblock, and 1st Aid items.
- Water, fruit, and chips will be generously donated by Z Life and Open Doors at Daley Plaza.
Bathrooms:
- Hero Coffee Bar at439 S Dearborn St is near the starting point is allowing bathroom use.
- There will be accessible porta potties at Daley Plaza.
- The mall across the street from Daley Plaza also has accessible bathrooms inside.
