Energizing public debates made Washington Square Park famous as the most celebrated outdoor free-speech center in the nation. Stop by after the parade program to hear Mike Ervin, disability activist, playwright and humorist speak.
A sample of the impact our efforts have had. The group from Norway returned home and put on their OWN parade! It was a big success. Here is the video they put on UTube. The first few minutes capture the parade, the rest is their celebration, not subtitled or translated.
